A Swissair MD11 has been standing at a bay away from the terminal at Karachi since last night, apparently it developed some technical fault and had to land here while flying to India (dont know which city) all the passengers and crew were provided accomodation at a hotel, the aircraft was still standing till i left for home at 1100 am PST, the winglets were also painted in the Swiss flag and they looked great, also saw the same painted winglets on an SR A330 a few days back, have Sr reverted to the painted winglets? infact it was a European airlines day at KHI with an unusually bright and clear sunny day, as usually its dusty, it was great to see the SR plane along side a Lufthansa Cargo MD11 and an Air France 747F, wish I couldve have taken pictures, by the way aircraft and liveries look much better from a distance than up close

It would have to be the Bombay flight since Delhi is operated by A330's.

According to SR's website, SR193 from BOM which was originally scheduled to arrive at ZRH on Sunday morning (5/27) was cancelled, and the aircraft was HB-IWU. I guess that's the one.

As far as I know Swissair keeps the swiss winglets and will add them to all planes. The blue "Qualiflyer" belly will be cancelled and the grey belly will return on those aircraft.
