had now 2 news making events here @ KSME...

Back in January

You would think that the A&P's would have tested the aircraft repairs before turning it back over to the customer. Having the FAA onboard was just a bonus!

Maybe this plane has become a hangar queen.

The Swearingen Merlin, of which the Metro derived, was notorious for hard-over nose steering failures of one sort or another. Many mishaps in the fleet.

Not sure if things improved with the Metro...apparently not.
