According to Google Maps, there is a US Airways Express office on 238 Main Street in Norfolk, VA, in Downtown. Is this office legitimate? I can't find the actual name for the Express carrier, it just says US Airways Express.

I'm a little skeptical because this would be in the same building as a barbershop named U S Hairways...

Thanks!

There used to be a US Airways ticket office there - I stayed at the Marriott across the street from there in summer 2001 and would always see the US ticket office there.

Doubt it's still there now with the rash of CTO closings that has occurred since 9/11 though.

Looks like the new business just added an H in front of Airways to the awning that once did say US Airways...

Sure is. It's the headquarters for the Express department. They're mainly tasked with coordinating schedules, planes, routes, and contracts with each of the express providers.

If you search "US Airways Albany" google says it is there too, they may own the building still, but not operate it.

As I went to look for it, I realized I was thinking of MDT, where the offices are.

D'oh!

The SSO in MDT only deals with Piedmont and PSA. They do the payroll, PDT schedules, benefits, and a couple of other functions there. That office doesn't do anything with the contract carriers.

They have also been building pairings for PSA as well.
