I am sorry if this has been discussed earlier. I searched, but could not find.
Which airline could be having the highest 77L utilization ?
I am sure KL or LX would possibly have emerged to the top had they 77Ls, but since neither of those operate the type, who could be the utilization champion of this niche model ?
Current commercial 77L fleet
AC - 6
AI - 8
DL - 10
EK - 10
PK - 2
QR - 6

It would be great if someone can share with us the utilization numbers too.  Smile

Do you mean PER?

Any idea why the aircraft they send to Perth keeps changing? Loads are generally fairly good, but 77W, 772, 77L and A345 have all been used recently.

Am I correct that the 77L doing the PEK flight will be doing the upcoming AMS route from next month? (I am supposed to have a ride on one in May, so I better be correct  )

@qf744fan I think it is largely due to needing to free up 77Ls for other routes. Plus, the 77W can easily do nonstop DXB-PER.

@PEET7G Quite likely, yes. But forget not that on DXB-AMS day 2 is a 77W.

I wouldn't complain, it's nice having a variety of EK aircraft in PER. You forgot the 343 also, which they brought back late last year for a month or two!

No, I meant PEK, but PER and AMS has 77L's as well, this is according to EK timetable.

Can someone explains how will this work?
77L's are flying to 6 cities daily with 10 aircrafts only. (LAX,IAH,GRU,PER,SYD,AMS 6x)

Is the EK timetable that you download to the desktop is reliable?

According the EK timetable, PEK flight will be 77W starting from May. Which means that this aircraft will shift to AMS route instead.

EK also hops in 77L in BOM instead of 772ER sometimes

As for AI, the fly nonstop BOM-JFK/DEL-JFK.
Also you will see some in IAD.
They put in to LHR too.

Keep flying, because the sky is no limit!
