On 05/10/10, LAN Argentina will launch international flights from AEP. Initially, LAN will operate 3 daily flights between AEP and SCL. Currently, LAN operates 8 daily frequencies between EZE and SCL, 5 will continue operating at Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) and 3 will start operating at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) Airport.

Quoting KFlyer (Reply 4): Didn't Aerolineas Argentinas too switch a majority of its ops to AEP ?
Correct. At this time, a vast number of international flights operated by AR were transferred to AEP instead EZE: GIG, GRU, SCL, ASU, POA, SSA, PDP and so on.
It seems like 4M is trying to emulate this pattern, but I ignore it this maneuver means a congestion at AEP.

Regardless, LAN Argentina will transfer two A320s based at Ezeiza to Aeroparque. This service will do well IMO since it is aimed at those who travel for business. Also, at AEP pax will have smooth connections with flights to domestic destinations in Argentina.
