Not soon enough! That's awesome! I love it! It's like Virgin America's interior...well sorta.

Looks a little cramped to me. Does anyone know if the dimensions are smaller as opposed to the other style?

The specifications of the 737NG is all the same across the board regardless of what airline you fly on.

I dont think it fits to well with the narrowbody interior. It is a test run to see about next generation 737 replacements and problems associated with the sky interiors.

I'm just talking the overheads seem bigger than on regular 737, is that true? or just my eyes playing tricks?

I believe its to allow 3 bags per bin by placing them perpendicular to the aisle.

Is the Boeing Sky only going to be fitted to new deliveries or will it be fitted to the rest of the fleet? I'm excited to see it when it rolls out...Continental has made some great improvements and this just adds to the list!

AA will also have this interior on their new-delivery 738s starting later this year, shortly after CO and FZ. No word on if AA plans on refitting their other 738s with the improved interior.

It´s my understanding that it is not possible o refit the BSI.

BSI can only be installed in new builds.

I always love how A and B describe their economy sections as "spacious" and providing "unrivaled comfort." They may have nice colors, interesting fabric, cool architecture and lighting -- but spacious they aint!

Are there any photos of the new interior in regular airline service yet?

I agree. I flew Virgin America last month, and despite all the snazzy purple lighting, black leather and cocktail bar music, my knees were still crammed into the seatback in front of me.

I think so. I don't remember where, but I read somewhere that on the AS 737's, the overhead bins on the 737NG's are bigger than the ones on their 734's.

Something tells me AA has other priorities first before refitting newer 737s with a new interior.

Something tells me AA knows this. AA's first new-interior 757 domestic is already flying.

I actually think the Airbus planes are an ok size, the seats are ok width and the cabin is wider then the 737. The last time I was on the 737 i kept hitting the aisle seat on the way to the lavatory. And no im a pretty average sized person.

Yeah, the overhead bins are larger then the current design. Its on their website I think on some guys blog.
