Our friends at JetBlue posted on Twitter a $9 fare from SFO/OAK to Long Beach, has to be booked today for select dates only:
May 4/5, 11/12 and 18/19.
Booked a trip down with one of my friends this Wednesday and turn around back to SFO and then again next Wednesday to do LAX spotting. Both flights were $39 a/i taxes, etc. Some flights still show $9 fares.
The red zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only, there is no stopping in the white zone...(Ai

Quoting mogandoCI (Reply 1): esp when you have UA, AS, and WN murdering each other, jetblue should have no business going up and down the west coast other than for connection purposes.
SF - LA must be one of those super over-served markets...kinda like Japan to HNL or NYC to Florida
I'm always curious as to if the airlines really get enough business to warrant serving these saturated routes. Do they actually get enough people who would otherwise fly another carrier just because they can't fly SFO-LAX that warrants losing money on the route?
