DL240 diversion, headed to Atlanta from Narita.

Flight plan filed for DEN-ATL departing at 1115 local. I'd guess medical due to the short ground time.

Here's a few pics I got of her while she was on the ground. Ship# 6313 (N673US):

That sure is a rare visitor to DEN. Interesting the parked on A concourse, but then again probably the best location for a medical emergency since its closest to the landside access and also an international flight with the whole customs issue.

DEN used to see the NW 742 or 744 occasionally as an NFL sports charter.

...yeah, probably because the only doc on board was a psychiatrist or dermatologist and forgot just how one goes about determining if someone is dead or alive!

Unless you want your airplane turned into a crime scene, you get the paramedics to remove the person from the acft and then pronounce him!

I have heard this argument many times but should it happen, be declared dead on the ground, it would only take a couple hours to clear the aircraft.
I was involved in an incident at LAX - the corner came out - and we got our aircraft back in a matter of couple hours. It was scheduled for about 5 hours ground time and it did not leave late.

DL must have borrowed a tow bar from UA since no widebodies are scheduled to DEN.

Maybe, maybe not. They may have had one around from previous charters. A lot of cities have bars for planes they don't regularly see.

DEN used to see DC-10, A330, 744 charters from NW often during the NFL season.
Plus DL used to bring in 767s as well.
DL has a can loader at DEN

Heck, AA still has a can loader at DEN as well back from the DC-10 days
