Evergreen will receive its first 744F these days. N491EV was originally SQs 9V-SFB.
Surely this is the first of more to come. Any information regarding this though I couldnt find though. Are more SQ 744Fs going that way? Sistership 9V-SFA has been stored recently.

Just last week, reg. 4X-ELF. Do you know what its registration with SQ was?

I haven't seen any pictures yet. Will it have the same colours as all their previous 747?

Thanks very much. Funny way to show a picture.   (... and a harsh tone in that forum, pheew).

Actually, I still like the Evergreen livery. Similiar to LH it's kind of traditional.

Looking at the antenna configuration El Al´s 4X-ELF could be the former 9V-SFA. That aircraft had been reported to be stored last month and repainted white. Seems El Al is said to be receiving more. SQ Cargo is shrinking quite fast, why?

Unusual it is for sure.

That was one of the Dreamlifters.
Evergreen operates and maintains them for Boeing until this summer when Atlas/Polar take over.

What determines whether Evergreen uses the "B744" or "BLCF" aircraft code for Dreamlifter flights ? I've seen both used on flightaware.

Of much greater concern about the NYC Aviation post was the comment that someone saw the Supertanker at Marana without engines, looking sad. That would suck. I wonder if he was talking about the FIRST Supertanker; the one that TZTriStar500 was working on is a different ship. I hope that's the case...

Also, I'm pleased to see the Evergreen logo on the winglets on the 744F; it looks sharp.

It has to have been the old one Tanker 947 (N470EV) as the current and only one, Tanker 979 (N479EV) flew to MSY to apparently help with spreading oil dispersant.

That was one of the advertised capabilities; glad to see someone is taking advantage of it!
