Wow, that's a interesting decision, being from India, I never even knew Lucknow could handle international ops, I heard they had an airport, but never thought international. That's very interesting decision for me personally as well, but a very good one because I don't think that there are many airlines operating that segment, so even if it does result in a price war, there aren't many

At Lucknow you have
*Oman Air daily to Muscat.
*AIX: 3 weekly to DXB
* IC: 4 weekly to SHJ
* SV: 2 weekly to DMM and 1/2 weekly to RUH.
Airport is called Chaudhary Charan Singh International airport.
Now, this is the maximum as of now Flydubai can operate to India; 3 weekly. Since 2009 the GOI has not revised any bilateral agreement with any other country besides, Nepal and Qatar. The former due to the request of Indian carriers and the latter due to it being a part of a "LARGER" cooperation.

Have taken flights from LKO n number of times. There is only one terminal which acts as an international terminal and as a domestic terminal. There are 2 immigration counters after the check in counters and before the security check and are strategically located in the alley which connects check in hall to the security hold area. The counters are manned when an international flight is operating.
Incase you are domestic passenger just show your boarding pass and they allow you to directly go for a security check Same was the case in ATQ as well
