I know Virgin America recently postponed their inaugural MCO flights (i think to october) but I no longer see anything about SAN-MCO. Does Virgin still plan on offering service from SAN-MCO or have they canceled it?. I'm hoping it's just something that fell through the cracks and SAN-MCO is still planned

Huh? Watchu talking about 'captain? If there was ever such an announcement, I sure didn't see it! SFO and LAX to Orlando were announced and have now been "indefinitely" postponed. (SAN-MCO may have appeared on the route map but only as connecting service over SFO...)

Sorry, you KNOW how much I want to see that route happen and even though VX would be an ideal candidate, I know it ain't never gonna happen!

I'm completely positive SAN-MCO was to be offered. LAX/SFO was to start on August 18th I believe and SAN was to start the 19th (I think those were the correct dates). It is kind of hard to trust

They fooled you on their route map. Right below the map, it lists when routes start and they showed SAN-MCO starting when it is really a direct flight, not nonstop. I'm positive VX did not announce SAN-MCO.

   (As I said.)

However, I don't think there was any indication that it would even be a direct flight -- at best, a connection via SFO.

We'll see SAN-JFK long before SAN-MCO on Virgin metal.
