Dont know if anyone else has this problem. Many times when pics are shown pertaining to our discussions fom Google Map it seems that there is a accuracy problem. Many times we see an current pic of something here but when I pull up the same map it is out of date. A good example was a discission here on Jetblue and there was a posting of the current completed T5 pic from Google Maps. Now when I go to google maps and look at JFK it still shows the old TWA terminal. Is there a special subscription to get current info from them or could someone explain why this happens.

It doesn't show B6's hangar at JFK either...and I have been working in that facility since 2005. The image shows a dirt lot LOL! The weird part about it all is a lot of the watermarks in the images surrounding JFK indicate 2010 on them. Hmmmm

I you use Google Earth as opposed to Google maps, it shows you the date the image was taken, and there is also a slider to change the imagery to different dates. I just looked, and the default JFK imagery is from December 31, 2003, but you can change it all the way up to September 6, 2009.
I don't believe there is a way to change the imagery through Google Maps, though, just the Google Earth application. Hope this helps.
For example, here is the TWA hangar in 2003 and 2009:
