DL MD88 Updates?

I know that DL was planning on doing some F upgrades on there MD88 fleet. I am going on one July 4 weekend. Was wondering what and if any changes I would see. Any other updates being done on these aircraft?

First one goes in in late June according to the Press Release from TIMCO. The prototype airplane for modifications like this usually takes a month or so to receive the mod and get its certification. I would expect the first one out in late July or early August

The updates are more than just for the F cabin, it is a full interior overhaul, including new overhead bins and seats. The rear galley will also be removed. The new configuration will have 150 seats, although I have heard conflicting information on whether it will be 14/136 or or 16/134.

No, the entire cabin will be served by the front galley.
