I was wondering, Martinair and Transavia have now been part of KLM for a while now but why don't they have the Sky Team logo on their aircraft or no Sky Team logo aircraft? Does it have to do with them operating charter flights only? AFAIK Martinair also connects passengers on KLM flights and vice versa and that Martinair is being integrated in the KLM network. Will these airlines be fully integrated in the Sky Team network in the near future? Will we see a Sky Team logo jet in Martinair's fleet anytime soon? Is this planned? It will be nice to see a Martinair 763 wearing the Sky Team logo this year or maybe even the aircraft that will replace their 763 fleet (the A332?)
Can anyone elaborate on this? HB-IWC, do you know more about this?

Not all partially or fully owned subsidiaries necessarily join their parent in an alliance .
With *A for example SQs subsidiary Silkair is not affiliated. Oneworld member QF has not integrated Jetstar into the alliance , nor has BA integrated Open Skies .

You know guys, I never thought of that. Very valid points. But still, my questions remain. I can see HV not being fully integrated as they are a charter/low cost airline, but MP I actually see being fully integrated as a full member. Any thoughts?

This is why they offer connections on KL flight as well because in fact they now are KL. KL Cargo is transferring their cargo operations into MP Cargo's as well.

Martinair and Transavia are not members of the SkyTeam Alliance.
Continental Airlines, the 25th member of the Star Alliance network.
