When (if ever) will Air France install premium voyageur class on the A380? Why didn't they have it delivered with this class already installed? Anyone tried it yet?

Airbus refused to allow AF to install it on their first four A380 deliveries as their installation staff were already trained on doing the original cabin reconfiguration and putting PV in would have delayed deliveries.

The fifth A380 [F-HPJE] should have PV installed at XFW and once AF has enough planes, they will pull F-HPJA through F-HPJD out of service and reconfigure the cabins themselves.

Cool...thanks for the info.

Brief sidebar: I posted a topic the other day that was potentially related to this one, but it was quickly moved to the Travel Polls & Preferences, but I was never notified. Is that routine?

Anyway, since the thread was moved over there, far fewer people saw it, so my question wasn't really answered.

I am booked on AF007 JFK-CDG in October, and in the last couple of weeks, the seat map for my flight has changed. Seats 10A, 10L, and 11DEFG appeared that were not there before, and the upper deck economy seats have disappeared. Is this a hint of reconfiguration? Perhaps the upper deck Voyageur will become Premium Voyageur (2-3-2)? The generic seat maps on AF's site and the seat selection maps during booking on my same flight still show the earlier version, although without the upper deck seats visible.
