JD Power and Associates released their 2010 North American Airlines Satisfaction Survey. AS received top marks in the traditional carrier category(US Airways the lowest) while B6 received the highest marks in the LCC category(Frontier the lowest).
Did any of you find any surprises in the survey? Why do you think Frontier was ranked so low?
Personally I've found Delta and United service better than my experiences on continental and American. Now obviously im the minority in this opinion but I'll stick with Delta and my AVOD and my familiar San Diego flight crew.
I am surprised Hawaiian wasn't on there when they seem to do very well with other surveys.

Does DL have AVOD on all their planes now? My brother flew them the other day, and he can't stop talking about how great it is to have AVOD and Wifi on a 5 hour flight. Better than a meal any day.. I personally am a CO flyer, but I am open minded..
So why isn't Mexico in this, aren't they part of North America..?

Quoting sw733 (Reply 8): I'm the exact opposite. Funny how people can have such different experiences on the very same airlines. Really tells something about consistency these days...
I know. Flying out of DFW often, I have almost always had great experiences on AA. But when I talk to my business associates in Boston about our experiences (our group travels a lot, and we're mostly Gold and Platinum AAdvantage members), you'd think we're talking about two different airlines.
Same thing goes for DL -- when they had their hub here in DFW, they had a loyal following of customers who would rather die than fly AA. My experiences were the opposite, though -- I have never had an experience on DL that I would rank better than AA.
As for CO and UA, I can't imagine anyone preferring UA over CO. But, I'm sure there are some that do. That's just the way things work when you have a market and industry as large as that in the US.
Avod is available on most flights over roughly 3 hours I believe. Most of the 757 and 767 fleet has avod, 737-800 is getting them and the 737-700 already has them but I don't know what will happen with the A320s
