Hello there!
I was wondering if anyone could shed light on what appeared to be some sort of incident today 6/10 at MIA. Shortly after 12:00 noon an AC A319 -C-GARG- landed on runway 9 and stayed there on the runway for at least a good 20 minutes. Traffic waiting for departure was told to taxi to the 8s and/or 12. Traffic on approach was switched to the 8s. There was no "equipment" other than a ramp pick-up truck that came to the side of the stopped airplane. Unfortunately, I was not able to hang around for long, but when I drove past on my way back, the A319 was already at the gate. I wasn't able to catch what was going wrong since the crew was on a frequency that was not tower or ground.
Anyone knows - or wishes to speculate -- on what was this about?
