For the summer, easyJet are leasing OH-AFJ and will base the aircraft at Liverpool. It is currently at MAN being painted into easyJet colours. Not sure if it will get full scheme or not.

Will be interesting to see, for sure!

But why are they leasing it? Haven't they got enough of their own jets?

IIRC they leased this a/c (or another from Air Finland) & a Swedish MD-80 a couple of summers ago. Neither a/c had even U2 titles so nobody knew they were really flying for Easyjet, but this 757 should like cool especially in a hybrid scheme.

Yes they have, but they don't have enough crew to fly them.

They will lease another 757, G-OJIB from Astraeus which will be painted in EZY colours as well. Also Titan's 767 G-POWD will fly for EZY this summer but this one will remain in it's own colours. Both aircrafts will be based at Gatwick.

Apparently they are also leasing G-OJIB from Astraeus and G-POWD from Titan. They will be used on flights normally served by A321s.

Between 18 May and 6 June this aircraft (OH-AFJ) operated on wet lease to BA. It was routed HEL-LHR (BA795), LHR-LIS-LHR (BA506/07) and then LHR-HEL (BA798) 7 days a week during this period.

On 7 June it was replaced by OH-AFK on these BA HEL and LIS rotations. On the same day OH-AFJ was wet leased by U2 and was ferried HEL-MAN reportedly as EZY8001.

Both aircraft were operated for BA in full Air Finland liveries.

Are they also using a leased A330-200 out of MAN at the moment?

From what I know, they're using them on flights to Sharm and Hurghada. The ex GB Airbuses are leaving in September this year, after Airbus agreed to take them back and part them out. Which is a shame since they're quite new a/c.

Don't think so. Both the ex bmi A330s have or are about to be delivered (1 TK & 1 UL)

MAN flights are operating as normal at the moment, using 2 A319's (G-EZDP and G-EZFN) and 3 A320's (G-EZTF, G-EZTL and G-EZTT).

Im not saying they are the ex-BMI a/c, but on the FIDS screens for at least the last 2 weeks certain EZY flights have been showing as being operated by A332 a/c!

EZDP is a Gatwick based A/C, I've crewed on it a few times. As is TT I believe, but it's brand new. I saw both parked up at the South Terminal in Gatwick today when I came back from Faro. We passed underneath them both on a crew bus.

Have they been in MAN lately then?

Are you sure? Maybe a typo on the EY A332 flights?

As far as I can see DP has swapped with FF in HEL last monday and TT has been operating from MAN since May 27th.

How is that possible? Low wages? Bad planning? Thought the supply of pilots zqs higher thqn demand? Unless there is a shortage of A32x pilots?

Our aircraft aren't really assigned specific bases in that way. MAN is assigned 3 X 320's and 2 X 319's .........the aircraft simply rotate around the network with no particular base.

Ahh, I see. We've got a couple of 319s that swap around from Gatwick to the continent but they always seem to come back after a couple of days.

Looks really good, so much better than the Air Finland's outdated original. I guess the seating hasnt changed (?), meaning the seat pitch is rather good.
Here's a recent TR with cabin shots on Air Finland 752:
