Was just wondering the overall summary of Terminal B rennovations at EWR. Here's what I've noticed, but hopefully we can get a full list of what is actually completed (or still being worked on.)

1. LOWER ARRIVAL LEVEL (STREET LEVEL): New signage along the walls, revolving doors, etc. Basically a new entrance to the terminal for street level entrees.

2. MID LEVEL CONCOURSE LEVEL: Seems like they added check-in for certain airlines on this level which is also new. I think British Airways is for sure one of them but I can't remember what else they have done along the arrivals area, I think new bag claims for DL? I believe they closed several areas for new food options which are still under construction.

3. CONCOURSE B-1: Some new renovations including a brand new security screening area. Last time I went through here they were adding new people movers, wall fixtures along the walkway to the gates and closing the NW club (keeping the DL skyclub open across the way.) DL rebranded the former NW gates as their own for a total of 9 DL owned gates, also used by Alitalia and Air France.

4. CONCOURSE B-2/B-3: Any new changes?

5. UPPER LEVEL: Rather unchanged. Check-in areas for all airlines.

What other details am I missing? I'm probably getting a few of the levels confused but I gave it my best shot.

Is this why when you come into EWR off the Turnpike now, there is a seperate orange sign directing people to a different approach to the terminal for just "British Airways Departing Flights?"

I flew out of EWR on Sunday and saw that as I came up - was curious about that.

That is weird. Well I believe the ticket counter is still accessible from the "arrivals" area at terminal B, but if you didn't know where it was you'd be searching for it. I can't remember if the ticket counter is adjacent to the DL bag claims or if they are on the bottom level now. It gets confusing, hence why I posted the thread.

The British airways counters are on the new lower level, where the new baggage claim is located. British Airways will move back to the top (current) level ticketing area once that has been rebuilt, Terminal B will be set up like Terminal C. Baggage lowest level, Domestic ticketing (former baggage) mid level, International ticketing top level.

Also British Airways is going to build a brand new First class lounge:
