I understand Aer Lingus is not in good shape at the moment. However, they will need to renew some of their larger fleet in the next few years. Will they stick with A330s, or any chance of a return to 4-engined large jets for the shamrock? Also, any new long-range routes likely in the next few years which might use these planes?

The A330s are modern a/c and so will stay in the fleet for years. I dont think they will get any larger a/c, as outside of Ireland, the UK and USA there isnt a large enough Irish population to serve anywhere around the world.

When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!
