Just returned from a visit to Kingman (IGM), all of the former TWA L1011s have been scrapped. This was my sixth trip to IGM, the last being in Feb 2008, and there were still two left, sadly now they are all gone.

, I was in Kingman in Nov. and 1 of them was remaining then. Yes once they get approval from AA and get some "Elle" as it is known is suppose to be repainted in the old TWA scheme. The also need to get some new engines for it as the owner of the ferry engines came to collect them a few weeks ago as they could not raise the 41k to save them.
