Who do you think has the best web-site...from checking fares, to checking flight schedules, or just to mess around on??

Thanks,

Matt Asbury

American Airlines does in my opinion. Other polls on this issue also list AA first.

My second vote goes to United Airlines.

Both sites can run extremely slow during normal business hours unfortunately...

From the point of e-commerce, a poll run in spring revealed Lufthansa as the WINNER of Commercial sites, not just aviation ones. British Airways' was somewhere within Top Ten, too.

Virgin's site looks attractive, IMO.

Qantas has to be the best. The virtual 747 tour tops it off.

Aeroflot has a very good, extensive website. Good fleet info, seating charts, etc. However, their schedule query has been offline for awhile. probably because it includes domestic flights, and ARIA is international. They are working on updating the site.

Russian airline Transaero also has a very good website, with foreign and domestic flight scheduling, fleet summaries and seating layouts.

I've also enjoyed the websites for British Airways and Air France. Air France and particular is cool because they have a virtual 777 tour.

Alaska/Horizon Air has a very good website. No, there aren't any virtual tours or anything like that...it is just very functional, well-designed, and has lots of USEFUL information.

Into regions is better, it´s hard to pick just one! Of course my #1 choice is Virgin Atlantic, baby!

North America: American Airlines and United Airlines
South America: Varig and TAM (really impressive, check it out: www.tam.com.br)
Europe: British Airways, Air France, Virgin Atlantic and Swissair
Asia: Cathay Pacific, ANA, Qantas, Thai and JAL

Ilyushin96M: where on Air France website is the 777 tour?
