There is nothing in the Official Thread and there have been no posts for ages. Just thought I would ask, has there been an update regarding the 787 being at Farnborough? Will it be at the public days or not?

ZA003 is scheduled to be there, but RC503 is not. ZA003 should be on static display for two days.
Boeing hasn't done flying displays with commercial jets at an airshow for a long time, as far as I know. When it does happen, it's usually an airline, rather than Boeing itself. This is consistent behaviour.

I have my travel plans set up 19 to 22 staying at one of the plane spotters hotels along Bath Road at LHR. Will be at Farnborough the next day 20 July so I hope to catch a glimpse of the plane in flight. I hope they will do the rounds at the time they leave. Any idea what time on July 20 they will be leaving?
There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

It was a policy change enacted shortly after Tex Johnson did the barrel roll in Dash 80... A good one if you ask me, encourages safety for both the flight test department and the general public.

At the Western end of the runway it is the bridge over the Basingstoke canal. At the Eastern end it is The Swan In pub, you can nearly touch there the wheels while sitting in the garden and having a pint.
: Does anyone know what time she will leave on Sat 17th? and what time local to expect her on Sunday? Thanks
: According to Flightblogger, arrival is 9am Sunday. If they go direct, that would put takeoff at about 4pm (local) Saturday. http://www.flightglobal.c
: Airplane three got a wash and had some exterior instruments taken off on Thursday.
: Conveniently for me, I am presently on holiday with a relative 40 minutes from FAB. So, I might well appear tomorrow morning.
: Is the flight on Flightaware? Nothing currently under BOE as of 1:19PM ET
: I also cant find anything. Im thinking she will depart around 10PM GMT They say in the above videa that there going to do about 11 hour flight.
: They normally file about 1-2 hours prior to takeoff. If eugegall is right about a 10pm GMT departure (2pm PDT), they should file about 8-9pm GMT (12-
: Does anyone know if a video exists of the Dash 80 Barrel Roll? That would be quite cool to see a 4 holer do the twist....
