The last two weeks have brought some unusual visitors to what is normally a very boring airport. Here in West Palm Beach the airport is usually scattered with 737s and MD-80s. Maybe the summer heat is getting to me and I'm seeing things that are not actually here, but in the past two weeks the airport has been visited by an IL-76 an AN-124 and currently a North American 757 is in the house.
I heard the AN-124 is used by the Saudi Arabian government to buy Sikorsky Blackhawk helicopters (built in South Florida) to ship them overseas, but I haven't been able to confirm. And I have no idea why the IL-76 or the North American 757 were in town. Any clues....or is it just the heat getting to me.

Saw the An-124 last week. Very conspicuous on the PBI ramp!

A little update......as suspected the North American 757 was a military charter. Apparently it brought in a National Guard unit.

Spirit was leasing a North American 757 last week also, while its only A321 left (I think just one left) was in for maintenance - however I think it was just being used on the MCO-SJU route.
