which to me is a little surprising. I would have thought they'd bring them back into Andrews AFB instead of IAD given the sensitivity of this flight. With the time spent at RAF Brize Norton, I'm not sure that they would have had a debrief.

There again, at least IAD will give them onward connections if they are free to go and carry on with their lives.

I saw on www.flightradar24.com that it landed somewhere just west of london after about 2 hours flight.

Wynn Resorts was using Expressjet for these charters.

Vision does charters to MGM Resorts' properties in Mississippi as well. They've had one a/c based at ATL for flights to Tunica and Biloxi.

Vision has also been one of the charter operators flying MIA-HAV. I'm nor sure if they're still doing those flights.

Delta TechOps has a maintenance deal with Vision for their 767s and 737s, so there will be a Vision a/c parked over at TechOps in Atlanta from time to time.

CNN just reported the US spies (Russian nationals) the US swapped the 10 Russian spies for have been returned to the US via Vienna with a stop somewhere in the UK, and a Vision 762 was shown arriving in IAD just minutes ago.

Additionally, I reckon that someone at Vision will be getting a big arse kicking for not getting this plane blocked on the trackers. It's only a recent addition to their fleet so that could be why, but all their others had their activities blocked on the trackers within 48hrs of them joining the fleet. I expect this one to disappear from view next Wednesday night when the FAA next update the ASDI database.

Vision also does a ton of Grand Canyon air tours using Dornier a/c out of LAS for the casino industry - especially MGM -as well as support the river "adventure" companies for white-water rafting excursions in the Canyon. I think they used to have some scheduled service into Mesa/Williams Airport from LAS, at one point. Not sure if that's still the case....

Obviously the folks at CNN are not properly trained in basic research skills.

Vision Airlines was sued last year by former crew who said they were denied hazard pay for flying covert twice-weekly trips into war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan for the airline on contract to the U.S. government for the past four years. Some of these flights are rumored to be "rendition" flights of terrorists out of the war zones.

“The purpose of some of the classified flights was to ferry personnel to and from antiterrorism and military operations. The passengers typically included CIA and State Department personnel along with employees of private security contractor Blackwater, one pilot stated in an interview with the Las Vegas Sun newspaper....

It's interesting how this plane used to belong to an ex- Russian airline. I wonder if the CIA checked the plane for bugs, etc before allowing it to entering service.
