Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet. The inter-terminal shuttle at LGW has reopened a month early. Good news! Looks like the new owners are trying their best with Gatwick. I'll be using the shuttle tomorrow so will let you know what it's like when I get the chance.

According to one of my colleagues, my problem is that I'm addicted to travel!

Indeed. I'm really glad we can just jump off the train and onto the shuttle in the morning instead of faffing about with lugging cases onto buses!

TfL are still reporting the replacement bus service.

I used the shuttle yesterday to transport myself and 17 kids to South Terminal. It's very quick and easy to use but doesn't stop for long, I found myself standing by the doors pushing them open again to ensure I got all my group on! Glad I didn't have to use a bus

Does it still have the BA branding? Or is it another service they've withdrawn from LGW?

Glad to see it's reopen though, although there was nothing wrong with the shuttle itself, I believe reliability was slipping over the past few years. I once got stuck on it half way between the terminals, didn't move for about half an hour... Not great!

Gale force fog... don't you love it?

When I saw it (driving past the airport on the A23) it didn't appear to have BA branding. There's a picture of the new transit vehicles on the BBC news page linked above, I think.

TfL are still showing it out of action. It's annoying. It's cluttering up the rail page on my Tube app.
