77W, What's The Meaning Of This Designation?

I keep seeing the term '77W' and am curious;does this refer to the B 777-300ER, a new triple seven model, or is it just a generic name for the 777 family??

it refers specifically to the 777-300ER; on a side note, 77L refers to the 777-200LR
