First clue was a booking a made the other day. Second clue was the Diamond Club newsletter. The third clue was the disappearance of flybmi.com, although admittedly that is a bit of a non sequitur.
But it BD announce there are upgrading their LHR-ABZ routes to A319.
I'm of mixed feeling about this. I liked the large windows, the A seat, the general coolness of riding what looks like a business jet. The quicker boarding and deboarding was good too although admittedly deboarding is slowed by the cabin baggage problem. I kind of liked the need to walk onto the ramp, although using a jetty is more classy I suppose.
But I guess it shows the BD might not be as dead as we feared.
