Time for Portugal News 2!

A brief resumé of new routes announced from Portugal recently:

EZY LIS-BCN (MAD-based a/c to do this rotation?)

LS FAO-NCL

FR More OPO expansion inc.RAK and BCN

TP LIS-VCP now operating

any others? Would be nice to see some more EZY expansion at OPO and LIS.

Sun D'Or starts a seasonal service (2/7 to 10/9) TLV-LIS, 1x weeklly, with 737-800.

Has anyone heard whether TP are looking at DUB again? I've heard that now they have expanded into North Africa more (Marrakesh and Algiers), they are looking at some other destinations in Europe. EDI has also been mentioned.

With the prices that Aer Lingus is charging, OD traffic would prefer them I guess. Opening a flight for connecting traffic only may not be worth it.

I still think their next European destination should be VIE, which is a *A hub. It no longer has direct flights to LIS after SkyEurope's collapse, and both cities are capable of attracting business and leisure traffic.

I scratch my head, therefore I am.

I see EZY have added BCN this winter to LIS but there has been no official press release.

Have they added anything else from FAO/FNC/OPO?

What's the likelihood of a bit more competition on the LIS-FAO route? Any chance we could see U2 or HV come in?
