THY And YYZ..

After almost a year of launching the route , how is THY doing at YYZ , how are the loads ? Will they increase the frequency any time soon ? They are offering excellent fares out of YYZ to Turkey and the Middle East .

Unfortunately they cannot increase frequencies unless Canada authorizes more as the bilateral is limited to 3x weekly.

That is funny thanks for the smile. Well adding to your theory the landing gear is manufactured here isn't it? Makes you go hmmm.

Since the government is getting ticked at the tactics of a particular country and a particular airline, you might be right that either TK will be encouraged to upgauge or more frequencies will be added. Another bilateral with another new middle east country is being hinted at to expand the competition.

I've a feeling that this route is going to stay with the limited amount of freq. for a while. It took years to get them already so why would they increase it right away?

However when the flight performs quite well I can imagine TK sending the 77W to YYZ with far more pax and cargo capacity than the 332
