Reports are a small plane went down just off of N. Myrtle. Anyone have any details? It may be my aircraft on leaseback to a flight school. I sure hope the pilot is OK.

All the news seems to say is that it went into a mobile home park. What's the type aircraft, if you don't mind me asking? Prayers and thoughts with those affected.

Also saying it was out of Grand Strand (KCRE).

My plane is an Arrow based in Concord (KJQF). However, my aircraft was rented today by a pilot who flew it to N. Myrtle and had flight planned to return to Concord tonight (and hasn't arrived).

I'm sorry. FlightAware shows a N2825A departed KCRE for KJQF at around 8:49PM and the target is just sitting there. Last reported position was northeast of CRE, 2200' and 141kt (data subject to error). I hope for the best for you and this.

Edit: News now reporting one fatality and two injuries.  Sad

saw the same track and that's what has me believing it's my aircraft. Hoping for the safety of the crew, regardless if my aircraft or not.

Wow, since I'm too lazy to look what kind of aircraft and do you know anything more yet?

If the tailnumber from flightaware is indeed correct (N2825A), that would make it an Arrow IV. Prayers for all involved.

I am sorry but it does sound like this is your plane. I had the same thing happen to my Archer3.

That link is, of course, my aircraft, but there is no information in the news reports as to the identity of the plane or the pilot. Any news is appreciated.

Sorry about the plane, lets hope your contract was air tight and you had the insurance to cover this! I would be pretty freaked out and on the phone with my lawyer by now!

I don't mean to be disrespectful to the people involved and I do hope everything is okay. At this point however it is looking like at least one person has lost their life and for that I am sorry... RIP

I got this picture of N2825A at Sun N Fun a couple years back. Not sure if the registration changed since. This is scary because this is the second plane I have a picture of that has gone down in a week - the last was the T-6 that went down in the Gulf last week.

Mod Edit: Removed personal details of owner.

Judging by the OP's Airliners.net username I would guess that's confirmation this is his plane. Sorry to hear this!

Anyone know the WX at the time of the accident? I know there are sites where you can get historical METARS, I just don't know what they are.
