That is a shame. That means that there is minimal chance for the two destnations to be delinked.

Perhaps it's more a question of lack of aircraft? Once new deliveries come, it may still be upgraded again.

I'm very happy to see the CPH route develop positively. I believe it is also going to become daily, correct?

Any hints concerning EK and on/off approach to starting DXB-CPH?

Cheers,

CPH will go to 6x weekly A330 in FEB 2011.

Until February 2011 it looks like QR operates 4 weekly to CPH (daily ex1,3,4)

From February 21st, 2011 QR will operate on Mondays as well, which makes it 5 weekly. It does not appear to be 6x weekly, only 5x weekly.

Future flights: CPH-BKK-MNL; MNL-GUM-TKK-PNI-KSA-KWA-MAJ-HNL-LAX

According to Amadeus timetable they will also operate on Wednesdays from February. But it seems like the Wednesday flight isn’t on sale on the QR website at the moment - strange as I'm quite sure it was two days ago. It could be that QR still are adjusting the schedule...

Hi Guys,

I have a booked flight on QR in FEB, and im very happy too see that my flight has been upgraded to a 330.

I am flying CPH-DOH-BKK-USM, the BKK-USM is offcourse not on QR!

I have just been offered a pretty good deal to uprade to J class, I know there is a TON of TR's, but allot are old, and even more have very DIFFERENT opinions! Could anyone tell me, if an upgrade is worth the money, even if it is a good deal?

I mean, like a detailed explanation, of what its like, and how the transfer is like on J!

Kind regards, and thanks in advance,

I would definitely go for the upgrade to J-class.

QR has one of the best business class products out there and a great premium terminal in Doha

If still in doubt, check out this great (and recent) TR by gabrielchew:

Not the worst way of getting to Samui. Just a practical question. How exactly have you been offered the upgrade? Have they contacted you afterwards asking you whether you'd like to pay extra and how does that work in practice?

Thanks for the tip, I will definitetly be going for the upgrade!

Only downside, is that I have a short layover in DOH, only 1 hour between flights, surely not enought ime to enjoy the premium terminal? I Imagine getting straight off the plane and then off to the next flight??

Anybody know if this is true?

You take the bus to the premium terminal (second stop) and transfer there. No need to go into the normal terminal

To BKK you will probably get the 777-300 with one of the best lie flat (fully flat) business class seats around.

Great that QR upgrades CPH by the way and please QR send that spare 319 to OSL and join Star

There are currently a dialogue regarding a service to Osl, but this is complicated of reasons I unfortunately cannot refer to. Rute relations are currently on a 330-200/300 service.

However what I can say, is that we have not received any indication from Qatar that their 319 will be move to Osl from November.

Ok, Why such a big increase in capacity? On the DOH - CPH going from an A319 to A330? Is that route that busy? That is a large increase in seats to be filled.

Ahh, I only hope to enjoy a little bit of the terminal, and maybe a little lounge time, A shower may be stretching it a bit

Yes, I am indeed booked on the 773, for now   Equipment change has happened on this route before, to the 333 and 332, but I am hoping for the 773 as I have never flown the 300 version of the T7.

are the 773 and 333-332 arranged differently interior-wise?

It is indeed very good to see an upgrade! I can only hope that OSL will get to enjoy this awesome airline
Quoting dldtw1962 (Reply 18):

Yup, is indeed! 319LR is overbooked on almost every single flight the next 2 months in both classes!

and i can vouch for the doh bkk route, they always send the latest aircraft on that route and chances of equipment change are minimal .. you will def be in a 777-300er and those are really comfy in J

Also was surprised you asked wether its worth the upgrade?QR has one of the best premium services not withstanding the premium airport also but i doubt you will get any time as the bus takes around 15 minutes in total to get to the terminal approximately and then i am sure boarding will start for your next flight
but hey.. enjoy.. your travelling J

Thanks for your input, I only asked because I read a couple og TR's that had a negative attitude towards QR, and it made them seem a bit like hit or miss. I cant wait to try the 773, and I have already baught the upgrade, if people would like, ill write a good long TR, not allot out of CPH in the first place!

So Are we going to get bussed directly to the premium terminal, and then straight to the plane?
