I just heard of a JAL 747 getting struck with lightning. Just thought someone would like to know about it.. here's the link.

Yes, the 747 (model not known) was taking off from Kansai to Brisbane; was hit by lightning, but landed safely at KIX at 11.25pm. No injuries to any of the 437 pax/crew.
