AA hasn't picked up AAdditional gates on L left over by DL as we all expected, but NK picked up an extra gate. Maybe the two remaining gates will be picked up by VX?

Why don't they fly into MDW instead of ORD? Does it have to do with payload/performance restrictions during warmer times of the year or when the longer runways can't be used b/c of strong winds, other operational considerations, etc.

Clearly UA since VX shares the hub at SFO. VX is invading another UA hub, having started service at IAD and LAX soon after launch.

Not likely, since VX seems wants to cherry pick big markets, which OMA isn't.

That's what I figured. My other thought was that maybe it would impact AA relatively more in the sense that their only West Coast focus is LAX, whereas UA at least has LAX too, whereas if AA were to "lose" LAX-ORD to VX, that's it..

Are you kidding? Why go there when there is money to be had in the caribben among other places. AUS will see expansion before we add OMA on the route map.
