Hello, everyone. I'm looking at flightware and noticed that DL 281 a B77LR going from DTW to NRT. However, when I look on Delta.com for this flight it states the following:
MCO - ATL (B757)
ATL-NRT (B777LR)
NRT - SIN (B777LR)
Question is. Why did it land in DTW and depart from DTW at 8:24pm tonight? Anyone out there can help me on this one???

There was an aircraft change at DTW, so it appears there was some sort of mechanical issue that forced them to divert. Perhaps someone else has more specifics.
