The beggining of the S11 timetable will also mark the beginning of deliveries of the new A333's. I was on airlineroutes.not earlier and it appears VS have already started to adjust there timetable for S11 to reflect the introduction of the new aircraft.
The S11 timetable is available to view on the VS website up until 27 June 2011. I looked at the S11 timeable for 13JUL11 - 19JUL11 and compared it to the current S10 timetable and noticed the following changes
From London Heathrow to:
Boston: S11 daily flight will operate with 6 weekly A346's and a weekly A343. This summer it operates with 4 weekly 744's and 3 weekly A343's.
Chicago - Period of operation extended. Flights will restart 23MAY11 and run through until 29OCT11. S10 flights started
27MAY10 - 12SEP10
Delhi - S11 will see a capacity increase, Flights will operate daily using a A346. This summer flights are operate daily using a A343
Miami - S11 will operate with 5 weekly 744's and 2 weekly A346's. Flight currently ops daily 744.
Newark - S11 will operate 2 x daily A346. Currently ops with 1 x daily A346 and 1 x daily A343
From London Gatwick to
Orlando: VS027/028 - Will operate using 6 weekly A333 and 1 weekly 744 for S11. Flight currently ops daily 744
From Manchester to
Orlando: VS075/076 - Will operate daily using a A333 during S11. Flight currently ops using a daily 744.
VS073/074 - Will increase from the current 3 weekly flights to 4. All on 744.
Las Vegas: 2 x Weekly 744
The A333's and increased use of the A346's will free up 2 or 3 744's. Could these be sold or will they use them to increase capacity elsewhere??
