In 3rd quarter earnings Fed EX fell short of projected and the reason stated was rising prices of fuel. The stock dropped to $38.00 a share. UPS had very strong 3rd quarter earnings and stock increased $4.00 a share.
I am wondering what impact the rising fuel costs have had to the major airlines. Was the effect Fed Ex had due to poor fuel managment, or is it being felt around the industry.
