The last two China Eastern Airlines 737NG deliveries along with a Lion Air 739 delivery stopped at PNI/PTPN (Pohnpei, Caroline Islands, FSM) instead of the usual MAJ/PKMJ (Majuro, Marshall Islands).

Anyone know why the change?

Have been wondering the same. The MAS B738 also stopped there.

A friend spotted the MAS 73H taxiing right in front of his office (photo on blog).

Today's Hainan delivery went to PNI as well.
