Most functions on AirTran's website, and apparently their res center, have been down since Wednesday evening and are still so as of 7:00am EDT Thursday.

AirTran Airways is currently upgrading our systems.

Thank you for your patience as we upgrade the following:

•Online Reservations
•Reservations Call Center
•Online Check-In
•Flight Status
•A+ Rewards

Anybody know what's up? Is this a planned upgrade or did something crash?

I wish AirTran would get on board with interline electronic ticketing.

I may be wrong but I think that it is because their host system, Navitaire (NewSkies) does not have IET functionality?
