Good morning all...

I keep seeing a Nordwind Airlines B757 at the TOC but its registration looks was changed recently. I think it now shows N716TW??? Was this a DL B757 that changed hands to Nordwind???

Can anyone explain?

This 757 has never been in Delta's fleet. Airfleets shows it as being returned by AA to the lessor in January 2008, and Airlinerlist confirms this and adds that it was ferried to YLW and lists it as being stored.

Srbmod is correct. It has been leased by Nordwind from the owners. DL TOC did a heavy 'C' Check, paint and some work that Norwind requested. The reg has been changed to I think a Bermuda reg number. The plane is still in ATL while a few parts issues get sorted out and of course the money changes hands.
