All welcome additions should put the Miami hub over 300 flights now but is this pretty much it for the winter schedule now or are there a few more possible additional flights yet to be added? The American Eagle gates are about to open how many daily flights can you turn from 2 gates d-53 and d-55 or is it 3 when gate d-60 possibly opens next year.

There is still more to come.

There are two gates, but planes will still leave from remote stands. Though I believe passengers will be able to walk to the planes on the tarmac as opposed to buses.
As a note, with the change every domestic Eagle route is at least double-daily now except Savannah.

Wow I'm surprised to see Columbus at +2 dailies. I would guess 3x daily won't last into next spring from CMH after the spring break season is over.
It's funny when I tell people I love planes and they think I'm weird.

Quoting MAH4546 (Thread starter): The following new flights are being added (total frequency in parenthesis):
Columbus +2x (3x)
Fantastic News! Also, a quick glance at the new schedule for Nov 18th see's added AA flights on MIA-MCO up to 8 nonstops and MIA-JFK up to 7 nonstops. This is also the date that AA starts MIA-BSB and MIA-GNV. I hope more flights and new destinations are on the horizon for Miami and AA.

I'm guessing that these adds signal that we will not see any additional Eagle cities added this winter beyond GNV and CLE? I'd love to have access to a daily MIA-GSP, but I'm not holding my breath. At least we have WN to look forward to soon.

You got my hopes up for FWA-MIA... I have always thought that an FWA-MIA route would do well, too, as a complement to ORD and DFW.

Anything exotic that would be a new city like BUF, ROC, PVD, MHT, MDT etc?
I don't think AA will want to take the ER4s farther than the approximately 1,000mi stage length of MIA-PIT. The longer flights are already weight restricted as is. Frankly I'm surprise IND and PIT are still ERJs, though.

Maybe one of these days we'll see E-190/195 type aircraft in the American family; there are a whole lot of routes out of Chicago and Miami that would be perfect for them. The current 50 (ERJ) vs 160 (738) seat dilemma makes things at Miami trickier than they should be.

I'd agree...MSP, DTW, MCI, OMA, IND, EWR all come to mind within a second. The E-190 would be good for those, I imagine...I could be wrong, I have no numbers behind those, but they come to mind.

Quoting sw733 (Reply 17): Why oh why will they never start MCI-MIA service?? All I want is an ERJ to make Caribbean/Latin America connections...
AA is short on aircraft right now for the MIA hub. Before they get the E170/E190 (which they need stat) they should consider moving the S80 back to MIA for flights to small/medium markets like MCI, PIT, IND, CVG etc. All of these ERJ flights are great but they have no premium cabin and we all know how much AA loves it's premium passengers.

Good to see this. I can only hope with the focus on Eagle (CR7s and ORD), JFK, and MIA, PVD can some how re-enter the AA network to at least 1 of these places. I've heard it mentioned that PVD is the largest domestic market AA isn't in and with very good demand to Florida and the Caribbean, a shrinking WN dominance and no other LFCs, I would hope it is close to happening.

Nice to see the AA growth at CLE. I was surprised when CO dropped the route when it did. AA (Eagle) is also adding another frequency (4>5) to ORD-CLE (Aug-Nov).
