This aircraft is now sitting in Brazil as far as I can see.
A Google search for Aeronexus Corp turned up the following article that speculates that a new airline is on the horizon in South Africa (article dated 28 January).
This follows the departure of Gavin Harrison and Sven Petersen from 1Time, and their purchase of Aeronexus Corp from 1Time in January of this year.
Is there a market for a 767 charter carrier in Southern Africa? Or is Aeronexus possibly trying to resurrect National?
The aircraft information from skyliner-aviation turns up an aircraft that was delivered to Avianca in 1990. There are no pictures of it in the database after 2008, nor are there photos of it in a C/S other than Avianca.
I'm tired of the A vs. B sniping. Neither make planes that shed wings randomly!

Well, Nationwide (not National ) had one 767, that they used for a twice weekly service JNB-LGW. Since that link is no more, maybe they are considering ressurrecting the route? Will be difficult though, as the UK-SA market is already very full... AFAIK, the bilateral allows for 2 airlines from each country to operate. Currently, only BA, VS and SA are.

They will be operating Djibouti-London on behalf of the Djibouti Government. This has been on the cards for quite a while now. Glad to see its finally coming together for them.
