Hello!

Back in April I remember that Atlas Blue from Morocco still had their own website where you clould book flights. Now when you want to go to www.atlas-blue.com you are redirected to www.royalairmaroc.com.

Have these two airlines officially merged? I know that Atlas Blue was the LoCo-subsidiary of RAM, but has it now ceased to exist and is fully integrated into RAM, or does Atlas Blue continue flying under RAM-flightnumbers, but with the planes remaining branded as Atlas Blue?

How ist the serviceconcept of Atlas Blue? Is it comparable to Royal Air Maroc, or is it the typical no frill-style of LoCo-carriers, where you have to pay extra for everything?

Any information to clarify this whole story is highly appreciated!!!

Best regards,
Mike

According to Amadeus Atlas Blue operates flights (wet-leased?) for Royal Air Maroc:

ROYAL AIR MAROC - AT 646

[Planned Flight Info]
RAK-ORY 08:40/Sat - 12:55/Sat 03:15

[Flight Notes]
RAK-ORY AIRCRAFT OWNER ATLAS BLUE
RAK-ORY COCKPIT CREW ATLAS BLUE
RAK-ORY CABIN CREW ATLAS BLUE
RAK-ORY OPERATED BY ATLAS BLUE
RAK-ORY DEPARTS TERMINAL 1
RAK-ORY ARRIVES TERMINAL S
RAK-ORY ET/ ELECTRONIC TKT CANDIDATE
FLIGHT NOT OPERATING ON DATE SPECIFIED / SEE ALTERNATE DISPLAY

(was a flight a last Saturday)

But you are right, all Boeing 737s are in the full colors of RAM. The only aircraft in Atlas Blue colors is the A321 CN-RNX.

The merger idea makes sense... I got very confused by both Atlas Blue and RAM operating into LGW

Sorry to revive this one, but I'm also curiuos whether Atlas Blue is still around. Today's LHR-TNG flight seems to be operated by Atlas Blue (though as a AT codeshare):

This website states that Atlas Blue is defunct since 2009:

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

Seems that Atlas Blue will continue operations until the end of the summer season when is expected that the two airlines will be merged in just one.

Atlas Blue, in November, will stop direct flights from TNG and RAK to Barcelona and will be substituted with 738 in the RAK route operated by AT and with AT7 in the TNG route operated by Royal Air Maroc Express.

Regards,

Gerard
