Kuwait Airways will upgrade its Kuwait to New York JFK service operated via Frankfurt to a nonstop service on 24Jun01. The airline will operate one of its weekly flight with no stops increasing to 4 a week.
Schedules as follows :
KU117 KWI 0900-1605 JFK 2100-1700 KWI KU118
This flight, operated on Sundays, will be flown with an Airbus A340.
If Kuwait Airways can fly non-stop, why can't Emirates do the same thing with their 777?

At present all 4 KU flights to JFK are operated by B777.Three are via LHR and one FRA.This new flight is going to replace KU175 that operates on sundays via FRA. I think its a good move by KU at the right time of the year.

I must be right on this.... Kuwait Airways A340 flying KWI-LHR-ORD.. or maybe nonstop... I last seen Kuwait Airways @ ORD Terminal 5 on my Royal Jordanian arrival flight from AMM-AMS-ORD on a Tristar 500.... we parked next to Kuwait Airways A340 .. June 4 / 98..
