My question is, when will the additional cities for 2010 be announced? You'd think they'd want to give at least a few months notice before the service starts.

Hoping for ORD after all this time. It's been almost a year since DL left Gates L3/5/7/9 at ORD T3, and no one has took them over, not even AA (as rumored). One would think that VX could make a deal by then.

Don't forget, 'tristar, YYZ and MCO (already started and announced for October, respectively) count toward the 5, plus Cabo and Cancun have been "announced" and I'm sure at least one -- maybe both? -- of those Mexican destinations will start in 2010. So that leaves maybe 1 or 2 that we've not heard about yet, to go... And I'm not holding my breath.

Of course one thing the article fails to mention is that they've already dropped a new city this year.

From the article: "Since Virgin America’s 2007 launch, we’ve experienced record-setting growth..." -- ten cities in 3 years is record setting? OOOOOkay, whatever you say Mr. Cush.

I bet I know what city you're hoping is announced soon 'tristar!   With the way things are going this year down in NOLA, it wouldn't shock me if you folks get the ring very soon! Good luck!

I forgot about SJD and CUN...so yeah, maybe one more to to be announced if 5 is the correct number...I guess we'll find out soon (hopefully).

If he calls that record setting, I'm not sure what he would call "slow" or "average" growth!

Well you know, what kind of self respected New Orleanian would I be if I didn't hope for that to be the case? My friends and family would disown me.
