Looks like FL flight from IND to BWI diverted to DAY due to electrical problems. Any updates on this?

The 717 lost an engine cover somewhere over Newcastle, IN.

FL ops said they did not find the cover at IND so its somewhere in eastern Indiana.

Wow. 48 passengers were on that flight. Doesn't say much for the route does it? Great job by Indy Star to initially report it as an electrical problem.

Quoting Indy (Reply 2):

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if this is typical for this flight. Not many connecting pax through BWI?

It is mid-week in August. The 6-something flight could have been different.

There is also a WN flight to BWI that leaves right around the same time as this FL flight. That probably adds to it.
