I see that Flyingtons order for A330Fs is no longer on Airbus website. Does anyone know what became of designated airframes on the line, who did they go to if anyone?

Ouch. Wasn't that a significant piece of the A330F order book?
Does anyone have an update on the -F program? What is the expected EIS date?

Huh? The July spreadsheet shows them with 12 A330Fs on order.
hmmm, if you look at the orders/deliveries under corporate info there is nothing under flyington, but if you go to the A330F section under aircraft family section they are still there!!!

You need to download the spreadsheet, they're clearly listed.

Quoting HAWK21M (Reply 8): The media hype behind the plan or project do not seem to generate the confidence that it would launch ever.

Flyington is now blaming AB for their "problems" and threatening to sue....
"In hindsight, Airbus's aggressive pursuit of Flyington appears to have been driven by Airbus's strong interest in securing an A330-200 launch customer to unlock European Union launch air support and demonstrate to the U.S. Air Force that Airbus had a viable commercial variant for its proposed tanker," he said.
Flyington's planned commercial operations from India to destinations throughout Europe, West Asia and Africa now face uncertainty because of the delayed deliveries, the executive said."
The article wrongly says that Flyington was going to receive their first A330F in July 2008.
All other sources, including Airbus press release from signing of the order, says that first delivery should be in second half of 2009.
Airbus has since then pushed out the delivery from 2009 until 2010.
