Accoriding to the Russian website www.avia.ru, 5300 passengers used Hong Kong Airlines HKG-SVO service in the first month of service. Taking into consideration the fact that the route is flown 3 times a week with an A330-200, I'd say those are very impressive loads. I mean with 4 airlines serving the same route ( Aeroflot, Transaero, Cathay and HK Airlines) there is A LOT of competition. Well, all I can say is I am very glad they are doing so well and good luck to them and other airlines flying to HK from Moscow.
