Air NZ has launched a brand new safety video to be played on all its domestic B737-300 aircraft. The theme is mad about Rugby and uses some of the staff and also uses some of the nudity from their previous 'nothing to hide' safety video that was also played on the B733 fleet

What a great ad!

Very creative way to make it interesting, funny, and informative.

This is their 2nd one, they had another one in the past for the 737-300 with the crew doing the demo's in body paint.

I would have thought they'd have Richie McCaw tackle somebody in the aisle as their reason for needing oxygen

With life jackets in Wallaby yellow, Qantas should make all their life jackets look like Wallaby jerseys, at least on all QF/JQ flights OZ to NZL !!!

I believe the safety video covers both A320 and B737 types. The only difference for each type being the graphic for the emergency exits. This safety video is for the B737, as it has a B737 graphic.

If you look at the life jacket section, you'll notice a 747 in there as well.

This is a great job and it shows that NZ is very innovative in getting one's attention. It's also great to see that the crew who got their clothes off in the old video were rewarded for their efforts.

You didn't like the dual lane B-747 exit door during the lifejacket inflation demo?

Awesome video, thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure about the demo, does it link in with any special promotionally activity? How long will it last? Am I cynical and sour for liking something more professional? Leave the casual approach for Virgin and co, however I appear to be in the minority here...

Thank god they didn't go for cartoons there is nothing worse!!

Interesting to also see the New NZ uniforms, don’t like the pink at all. When are the new uniforms to be introduced? This may seem odd and I know there is only so much that can be done with a uniform however doesn’t the new NZ uniform look like the NZ equivalent of the QF uniform? Instead of Aboriginal motives with boomerangs they have replaced it with silver fern leaves and what ever that logo is called (anyone know?), or am I simply being picky again and this is fashion? Not saying this is a bad thing, our cultures are very similar just curious if anyone else noticed this similarity?

Yes, that event every four years that the All Blacks choke at   Baguette anyone?

Great video. Hilarious that Graeme Henry looked so irritated throughout.

Fun video but NZ seriously needs to do something about the uniforms. And quite impressive that in three minutes you manage see the safety video for a 737, filmed in an A320 and with 747 doors!

The video is also used on A320s. I think from memory the B747 doors is from the crew training aircraft
