Quoting N809FR (Reply 3): And surprise surprise, they beat the Broncos! It seems odd that Detroit would use CO for their team flights rather than DL.
Both Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints are new teams for Continental football charters for 2010. The other exclusive teams are the Texans, Browns, Jets, Bills, Bucs. I may be forgetting someone, but as of now I can't remember.

Interesting... Good to know. I'm guessing Denver flies United correct?

As far as I know the Broncos still fly United unless they have recently changed. The teams contract to airlines for a year or more at a time and sometimes you would be surprised it is not always the obvious, it could be an airline that is not really big in that city but still has picked up the charter contract.

Quoting dldtw1962 (Reply 9): On another post on here, DL was listed as Detroit Lions Charter carrier. Same with MSY. The DEN team could have came into DTW on CO.
The Lions had flown NW for years but this year, they will fly on CO. The Saints had flown on DL for years but they will also fly on CO this season. The Broncos-Lions game was in DEN, so it was the Lions that were traveling and the Broncos would have been on UA anyway.

Quoting ytib (Reply 8): They are normally UAL9902 during the season. The London game may not be United since the NFL coordinates that flight.
Right these flights are done by the NFL, for a couple of the years NW was the one flying them over.

Right, i said that but they changed this year and at the time didn't have the listing updated. Detroit played at Denver this past weekend.
